They are the heart of the games that we love. It captures the resilience of the players and the sheer brilliance behind plays that unfold on the pool court, field, gym stadium, or mats.
These reported scores do not reflect the abilities of the teams and only show the scores from this month, January 2024.

Jan 4th – Starting the 2024 year off strong, the Fontana girls’ water polo team traveled to San Gorgonio for their first league game of the year and won 22-2.
Jan 9th – FOHI traveled to Eisenhower for the second league match and won 24-2.
Jan 11th – For their first home and third league game of the year, Fontana played against Arroyo Valley and won 28-1.
Jan 16th – Fontana played home against Granite Hills for the fourth league game of the year, and won 21-3.
Jan 18th – Girls’ water polo team played against Notre Dame at the FOHI pool deck for their fifth league game and won 13-2.
Jan 23rd – Fontana traveled to the Fontana Park Aquatic Center for their sixth league game, which was against Summit, and won 19–5.
Jan 25th – For their league home game against San Gorgonio, the girls’ water polo team won 24-4.

Another powerhouse of talent on the hardwood that made FOHI proud with many of their games:
Boys’ Basketball
Jan 4th — The boys’ basketball team started their 2024 year off strong by winning their first away league game of the year against Bloomington. They scored 57- 49.
Jan 9th – Our boys’ basketball team played their first home league game of the year against Kaiser and won 61 – 38.
Jan 11th – Fontana played their third league game at Carter and played like a champion and won a remarkably close game with a score of 57- 54.
Jan 15th – Fontana had a game with Indiana Springs, however Indiana Springs forfeited and FOHI won by a margin of 2 – 0.
Jan 16th – FOHI had a home league game with Bloomington. They played an awfully close match and even went into overtime, but eventually lost 52-53.
Jan 18th – Second home game in a row, this time with Grand Terrace. FOHI team put up a good fight but lost 50-70.
Jan 23rd – Fontana lost their away league game at the Rim of the World with a score of 56-65.
Jan 25th — The boys’ basketball team made a great comeback at their non-league home game with Notre Dame. Fontana won 64-53.

Girls’ Basketball
Jan 4th – Our girls’ basketball team started the 2024 year with a great start and playing Arroyo Valley. They won their first home league game of the year, with a score of 59-21.
Jan 8th – FOHI traveled to Grand Terrance for their second League game and lost 46-40.
Jan 11th – Girls’ basketball team played their third league game with Jurupa here at FOHI, and won 58-36
Jan 16th – Fontana played their fourth league game at Arroyo Valley and won 42-38.
Jan 19th – For their first away non-league game of the year, FOHI girls’ basketball team played against Kaiser and lost 33-39.
Jan 23rd – At FOHI, our girls’ basketball team played San Gorgonio or their fifth league game, and FOHI takes the home win, with a score of 49-30.
Jan 25th – Girls’ basketball traveled to Summit and played their second non-league game of the year; which resulted in a loss of 35-58.

Jan 17th – Boys’ wrestling team played home against Rialto for the third league game of the year; won 51-30.

Jan 22nd – For the fourth league game, Fontana traveled to Aquinas and won 45-35.

Jan 10th – At their first away game of the 2024 year, Fontana played against Kaiser for their second non-league game. FOHI boys took a lost 0-3.
Jan 11th – At the Steeler Stadium, the boys’ soccer team played their second league game against Rialto and won 3-0.
Jan 17th – Boys’ soccer team traveled to Colton and had their third league game. The game resulted in a draw of 1-1.
