Has the topic of mathematics ever piqued your interest? Are you fascinated with discovering answers about the unknown—the various ways that numbers and algorithms can be solved and interpreted to enhance our understanding about the world? Do you pride yourself on being the first in class to accomplish such difficult challenges in math?
This year, the BC Class of 2024 concludes their rigorous efforts in finishing the entirety of the Calculus Unit—from integrating partial fractions all the way to solving differential equations using Euler’s method.
What most students found daunting about BC this year was the Series Tests concept that challenged our understanding of the infinite and finite sequences of a given sum expression.
If you are considering doing Calculus in your time spent here at FOHI, this class is a great way to enhance your fascination and understanding of mathematics as well as gain higher experience in a math course to strengthen your college applications and resumes. Through Calculus, you are going to be challenged to think in a logical and algebraic manner whilst analyzing several graphs.
As difficult as it is to differentiate between the vast array of topics that Calculus presents to the universe, fortunately enough, the classes are divided into two courses that students may enlist in—AB and BC, respectively. And NO, there is no CD course. That of course, is a myth.
