Rolling Out the Red Carpet: A Hollywood Prom Extravaganza

Prom 2024—what a night to remember. Prom is the last sendoff for our seniors before they go into the real world.
One last night to remember all the fond memories and experiences that you’ve experienced in high school. What happened at Prom anyways?
Prom this year was held in the Municipal Auditorium in Riverside from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The auditorium consisted of two floors filled with tables, music, and food for all.
This year we had a venue of chicken & waffles, macaroni & cheese, egg rolls, dumplings, and nachos, as well as a dessert table and a variety of drinks. The DJ and the music lasted all night as the seniors danced their night away. This year’s prom was Hollywood themed. Sweet embraces, vibrant yelling, passionate smiles, and the joyful laughter of FOHI Steelers is what filled the rooms of this massive auditorium.
Prom King and Prom Queen?
After a busy week of school activities for our prom court, the winner of our Prom King this year was Ritchie Rivera, along with our Prom Queen Rain Navarro Tabora. The selection of Prom King and Queen this year was announced in the middle of Prom. After the true royalty was announced, both Ritchie and Rain took to the dance floor to dance with one another.
One last Hurrah?
Prom marks the beginning of the end for our FOHI Steelers. As their journey starts to come to an end here at FOHI, they are all about to begin the journey of the rest of their lives. With graduation just a couple of weeks away, Prom was one way to really say goodbye to FOHI. Prom was just not any dance or party; it was one of the last memories that FOHI could give to our seniors before they go.
